What is it?
PLTW Biomedical Science is a Project Lead The Way program that immerses high school students in hands-on, project-based learning to explore the fields of medicine, forensics, and health care. Through four sequential courses—Principles of Biomedical Science, Human Body Systems, Medical Interventions, and Biomedical Innovation—students use state-of-the-art tools and technologies to investigate real-world medical cases, design innovative health solutions, and develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills for college and careers
